Dr. Pearse Lyons wore many hats, and even more bow ties. He founded Alltech with a passion and a purpose, and he often advised his friends to “do what makes your heart sing.” Dr. Lyons found his heart’s song in making a difference in agriculture and the lives of others. This ornament is the second in a series that commemorates the life of Dr. Lyons. Each iconic bow tie has been designed based on his actual collection.
Dr. Lyons was photographed wearing this particular bow tie when visiting the Alltech facility in Serdan, Mexico, where he made friends with a curious little boy named David.
